PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple hole-boring tool capable of performing the works of boring holes for planting cultivating crops easily and quickly in the case of covering cultivating soil with an agricultural vinyl or a covering film material, and also capable of boring the holes adjusted with the planting crops, and a method for boring the holes by using the same. SOLUTION: This hole-boring tool 1 is constituted by a wall body 3 having a cylindrical form and equipped with a cutting blade 2 at its end part, and an axial core part 11 becoming a central axis of the wall body 3. And the axial core part 11 is constituted by a drill chuck 5 becoming a rotary axis by being mounted on a hand drill and a center drill 4 for setting the central position on an object of hole-boring and boring a bored hole.
