The purpose of the present invention is to increase the operability of a series of puncture-related actions in a puncture instrument. In a main body case (2) of a puncture instrument (1), wherein a main rod (19) is provided in the main body case. An injection rod (21) is mounted to a main rod and has a lancet holder (22) at one end side. An actuation rod (23) is mounted to the injection rod and has an engaging part at an other end side. A first urging element (34) urges the injection rod toward the one-end side. An operating pole (5) is provided so as to be able to slide into and out of an opening (18) at the other-end side of the main body case. A lock body (28) is supported so as to be able to rotate in a portion of the main rod between the operating pole and the injection rod.
