PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user in a backwardly-reclined posture to easily erect a backrest.SOLUTION: A remote-control unit 1 according to the present invention is provided on a chair-type massage machine 2. An end of a signal line 9 for connecting the remote-control unit 1, in the chair-type massage machine side, can be stored in a taken-up state. When the signal line 9 is taken up inside the chair-type massage machine 2, the remote-control unit 1 is stored in a pocket 10 formed in the chair-type massage machine 2 side.
