PURPOSE: A producing method of a vegetation block using sea shells, and a vegetation method using thereof are provided to vegetate a slope surface including a bank of a river. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a vegetation block using sea shells comprises the following: producing a vegetation block body(10) by heat-fusing PLA(poly lactic acid)； and heat-fusing a mixture containing 10-60 parts of crushed sea shell by weight for 100 parts of PLA by weight to the inside of the vegetation block body for forming an inner skin layer(18). The vegetation block body includes plural through-holes(11) and a storage unit(12) with an opening on the upper side.본 발명은 패각을 이용한 식생블록 제조방법 및 이를 이용한 녹화공법에 관련되며, 이때 패각을 이용한 식생블록 제조방법은 PLA와 패각(貝殼)을 혼합하여 블록본체를 성형하는 방법과, PLA 블록본체 내측에 PLA와 패각(貝殼)을 혼합하여 내피층(18)을 형성하는 방법으로 제조된다.
