PURPOSE: A method for separating antioxidative elements from Cyanachum wilfordii is provided to obtain a large amount of improved efficacy of antioxidative elements easily with low cost. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the following steps of: (i) extracting Cyanachum wilfordii with a solvent chosen among methanol, ethanol and water; (ii) concentrating the extract and extracting the concentrate with a solvent chosen among butanol, ethyl acetate, a solution of butanol and water mixed in a ratio of 50:50-80:20, Chloroform, or a solution of Chloroform and water mixed in a ration of 60:40-90:10; and (iii) dehydrating the resulting extract of Cyanachum wilfordii. The antioxidative extract or powdered Cyanachum wilfordii can be added to tablet, candy, jelly, granule, drink, porridge, snack and bread to be health food.
