PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier-free embarkation/disembarkation facility that can strike a balance between the movement easiness of the barrier-free embarkation/disembarkation facility in the facility movement and the stability of an elevator in the wheel chair embarkation/disembarkation.SOLUTION: An embarkation/disembarkation device is provided movably and separately from an elevator, and the embarkation/disembarkation device is coupled and integrated with the elevator only in the embarkation/disembarkation, so that a weight of a single body that is pushed and pulled by a worker is reduced in the movement of the barrier-free embarkation/disembarkation facility. As a result, the movement of the barrier-free embarkation/disembarkation facility by man-power becomes easy, and an unexpected situation such as the swinging of an elevating cage and the falling of the elevator that is concerned when assuming that the elevator is elevated and operated while being separated from the embarkation/disembarkation device is dissolved, and thereby the stability of the elevator in the wheel chair embarkation/disembarkation can be achieved.
