An innovative process for spreading ashes, wherein the pyrotechnic devices are manufactured by trained personnel, after which the ashes are properly identified, then placed in the appropriate containers. These are then placed into the appropriate cavity inside the device, namely the payload tube (5). The product can be fully actuated using an electric or ignition switch, or preferably an ignition fuse (1). After activating the launch charge (2), the payload exits the launch tube and the internal delay fuse (3) is lit simultaneously. The fuse sparks the internal unit at an altitude of approximately 100-150 metres, than it (3) activates the detonation charge (4), which destroys the internal container, scattering the ashes contained within. Said ashes are placed into the payload tube (5) - assuming that an internal payload system was used - which is then simultaneously activated and activates any contained effects (6), the payload tube is affixed onto the mount point (7), and a top covering element (8) is placed on the top of the device. In addition, it is possible to launch at lower altitudes using a "cannon salute"-type launch tube, or launching the payload above water. Light, sound and colour effects can also be included in all cases as needed.
