A bedding for livestock comprises a cushioning support ( 10 ) adapted to be anchored to the floor of the stable to support the weight of a livestock, a coating ( 1 ) anchored over the cushioning support ( 10 ) and having at least one top layer ( 2 ) made of polymeric material adapted to coat in a substantially complete manner the cushioning support ( 10 ) to define a resting surface ( 3 ) for the livestock. The top layer ( 2 ) is made of nonwoven fabric and is coupled for its full extension to at least one waterproofing bottom layer ( 5 ) of polymeric material- The cushioning support ( 10 ) comprises a plurality of superimposed layers ( 13-16 ) of polymeric material with closed cells.
