The present invention relates to an embolic polymer-metal composite fiber and a preparation method thereof which uses first and second polymer hydrogel films with different expansion rates in the blood formed in a double layer structure by containing crosslinking agents in different contents. A linear form polymer fiber bends inside the blood and is formed into a coil for blocking blood vessels.
