PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform long scale photographing by preventing the deterioration of a control part by the irradiation with radiation or the reflection of the control part to a radiation image without overlapping the control part with a photographing region.SOLUTION: This radiation image photographing apparatus 20A includes a plurality of radiation detection units 30a-30c equipped with radiation converting panels capable of converting radiation 16 to a radiation image, panel housing parts 34a-34c for housing the radiation converting panels and control parts 196a-196c for controlling the radiation converting panels and connection parts 410a-410c and 412a-412c for connecting the respective radiation detection units 30a-30c.
