PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably continue photographing when carrying out moving image photographing using a radiation image photographing apparatus of a portable type.SOLUTION: The radiation image photographing apparatus 310 comprises: a housing 12 for accommodating a radiation detection panel 30 and a handle 314 attached to the housing 12. The control part 32 of the radiation image photographing apparatus 10 determines the attachment or detachment of an AC cable 316 to or from the housing 12. When the AC cable 316 is attached, the control part 32 allows still image photographing for capturing still image information that is not stipulated in terms of frame.
