PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform long scale photographing by connecting a plurality of radiation detecting units without producing difference in level at a connection place.SOLUTION: In this radiation image photographing apparatus 20A, respective panel housing parts 34a-34c are connected in a state that the respective panel housing parts 34a-34c are successively overturned by connection parts 120a-120c and 122a-122c so that respective radiation conversion panels 172a-172c are partially overlapped with each other and respective irradiation surfaces 148a-148c are alternately repeated in the order of the surface and the back.
