A method, system, and program product are provided for removing artifacts from an EM field generator from a rotational 3D scan. The method comprises: preoperatively, characterizing the artifacts from the EM field generator over a range of rotational positions of an x-ray source and detector intraoperatively, determining the position of the EM field generator relative to the x-ray source and detector and removing the preoperatively characterized artifacts for the determined relative position of the EM field generator from a current x-ray image.La présente invention concerne un procédé, un système, et un progiciel servant à supprimer, dans une scanographie 3D à rotation, des artéfacts produits par un générateur de champs électromagnétiques. Selon ce procédé, avant la réalisation de la scanographie, on caractérise les artéfacts provenant du générateur de champs électromagnétiques, dans une plage de positions de rotation dune source et dun détecteur de rayons X. Pendant la scanographie, on détermine la position du générateur de champs électromagnétiques par rapport à la source et au détecteur de rayons X. Enfin, on supprime dans limage radiographique courante les artéfacts qui ont été caractérisés avant la mise en œuvre et qui correspondent à la position relative du générateur de champs électromagnétiques.
