PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device including an insertion part configured to be inserted into a body and apply special light to a portion to be inspected in the body, in which the safety of the portion to be inspected against the special light is secured, and as for a visible image irradiated with white light, an image with sufficient brightness can be obtained.SOLUTION: The endoscope includes an over sheath 35 configured to be inserted into a body and irradiate the portion to be inspected in the body with special light, and also attachable to an insertion part 30Y for receiving the light emitted from the portion to be inspected upon the irradiation of the special light.
