The present invention provides a method to investigate a sink hole using sink hole investigation equipment having a simple structure to enable non-specialists to easily grasp a sink hole or a cavity in the ground and geological features. The method to investigate a sink hole using the sink hole investigation equipment enables non-specialists to grasp whether a sink exists in the ground or not using the sink hole investigation equipment having a simple structure and a hitting unit; improves workability by allowing the investigation of a sink hole in the ground and geological features by interpenetrating the investigation equipment into the ground; allows the investigation result to be resulted right after the investigation with reduced error on the measurement data as the investigation equipment is directly penetrated into the ground; and allows investigation of the sink hole in the ground and geological features without damaging the underground facilities buried in the ground.
