The invention relates to a contamination tester for testing an ionic contamination of circuit boards, comprising a container for receiving a liquid and a measuring device for measuring an electric conductivity of the liquid, wherein during the measuring a circuit board which is to be tested is in the liquid, a heating element and or a cooling element for heating and/or cooling the liquid in the container is provided.
