<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating plants by progressing growth while superposing containers one by one, reducing a pressure to be applied to plant cultivation soil in the container placed on a lower side by the weight of the container placed on an upper side when superposing a plurality of the containers, and space-saving a storing space of the containers. ??<P>SOLUTION: This plant cultivation container (flowerpot 10) includes a side wall part 12 and a bottom wall part 16, and has an opened upper surface. The bottom wall part 16 is formed with a plurality of holes 11, and the side wall part 12 is formed by a plurality of recessed parts 13 recessed into the inside of the container, and non-recessed parts excluding the recessed parts 13.
