SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray irradiation device 1 for irradiating a subject with X-rays while being turned around the subject, an X-ray imaging apparatus 2 for detecting the X-rays which the subject has transmitted, while being turned around the subject and an image processor 4 for processing images obtained from the X-ray imaging apparatus 2 and obtaining the cross-sectional images of the subject. The image processor 4 gathers projection one-dimensional data from the X-ray imaging apparatus 2 at every turning angle of the X-ray irradiation device 1 and the X-ray imaging apparatus 2, generates a sinogram in which the respective projection one-dimensional data are arranged in the order of the turning angle, binarizes the sinogram, executes simple back projection of the binarized sinogram in a two-dimensional space ON calculation at every turning angle to generate back projection images and binarizes the back projection images.
