PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decomposer of a Maillard reaction product and a Maillard reaction inhibitor useful for prevention of reduced elasticity or dullness of the skin by finding and using a substance which has a concentration-decreasing activity for the Maillard reaction product and a substance which can inhibit Maillard reaction effectively.SOLUTION: Provided are a concentration-decreasing agent of the Maillard reaction product containing an extract from Ludwigia octovalvis (Jacq.) Raven as an active ingredient, and the Maillard reaction inhibitor containing an extract from Ludwigia octovalvis (Jacq.)
