PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material for apparatus having both excellent mechanical physical property, excellent shape-imparting characteristics weight saving.SOLUTION: There is provided a plate material for apparatus containing prepreg consisting of thermoplastic resin and carbon fiber with a fiber length of the carbon fiber of 6 mm to 25 mm. The plate material for apparatus preferably has a volume content of the carbon fiber of 10 vol.% to 35 vol.%, thickness of 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm and a prepreg layer where the carbon fiber orients at an angle of 40 to 50° in a longer direction of the plate material for apparatus.【課題】 優れた機械物性と優れた賦形性および軽量化を両立する装具用板材料が求められていた。【解決手段】 熱可塑性樹脂と炭素繊維からなるプリプレグからなり、前記炭素繊維の繊維長が６ｍｍ以上２５ｍｍ以下である装具用板材料。当該装具用板材料は、炭素繊維の体積含有率が１０体積％以上３５体積％以下であること、厚みが１．０ｍｍ以上３．０ｍｍ以下であること、装具用板材料の長手方向に対して、４０～５０゜の角度に炭素繊維が配向したプリプレグ層を有することが好ましい。【選択図】 なし
