PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent lateral leakage without deterioration of wearing feeling even when an absorbent article is a thin type absorbent article.SOLUTION: An absorber 4 comprises: a left and right pair of first barriers 10 which protrude to a use surface side along a substantially longitudinal direction: and a left and right pair of second barriers 11 which protrude to the use surface side along side edges of the absorber 4 on outside of the first barriers 10, and an embossment groove 12 along the substantially longitudinal direction is formed on a respective space between the first barrier 10 and the second barrier 11.
