PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which side sheets and a surface sheet are jointed rigidly for preventing peeling, which flexibly fits a body of a wearer and which improves touch feeling.SOLUTION: On a skin side of a lamination part between each side sheet 7 and a liquid permeable surface sheet 3, side embossments 10 which become dent toward a non-skin side and on which the side sheet 7 and the liquid permeable surface sheet 3 are fused, are formed.
