PURPOSE: A substitute materials for a plastic using a natural material is provided to reduce the cost by easily gaining a material. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a substitute material comprises the steps of mixing dry rice hulls with glue formed by heating the mixture of 20wt% of starch and 80wt% of water, mixing the pulverized dry rice hulls, 5wt% of water and 10wt% of natural resin and molding the mixture into a molder keeping in 100 to 350 deg.C, for 30 to 80 seconds. The substitute does not produce the noxious gas in burning and rot easily when discarded.
