PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread traction propulsion type endoscope apparatus, which can be inserted into an alimentary canal by pulling the distal end of an endoscope and easily move an endoscope main body or a small diameter endoscope forward even when inserted into a deep alimentary canal.
SOLUTION: A thread traction type endoscope apparatus 10M includes an endoscope main body insertion tool-fixing balloon 14 on a periphery on the distal end of the endoscope main body 11 and an outer tube fixing balloon 15 on the periphery on the distal end of a sliding tube 12. A first thread S1 fixed on a fix point P1 on the periphery that keeps a given distance from the distal end of the endoscope main body 11 is derived from an inner side to a periphery side of the sliding tube 12 on the distal end of the sliding tube 12 so as to reach an endoscope operation part, and a second thread fixed on an inner periphery P2 on the distal end of the sliding tube 12 reaches the endoscope operation part through a threading hole 18 provided on the distal end of the endoscope main body 11.
