PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double balloon type endoscopic system capable of being easily inserted in a digestive tract up to a deep part and reducing the pain of a subject even in case that the endoscopic system is inserted up to the deep part.SOLUTION: In the double balloon type endoscopic system 10A constituted so that the fixing balloon 15 of an endoscope body 11 is provided to the outer periphery on the side of the distal end of the endoscope body 11 and a fixing balloon 14 is provided to the outer periphery on the side of the distal end of a sliding tube 12, the propelling balloon 16A of the endoscope body 11 is arranged between the distal end part of the sliding tube 12 and the endoscope body 11 to be fixed not only to the proximal end of the fixing balloon 15 of the endoscope body 11 on the side of the distal end side thereof but also to the distal end of the sliding tube 12 on the proximal end thereof. A gas flow channel 13a for introducing and sucking gas into the propelling balloon 16A of an insertion instrument is formed to the sliding tube 12 or the endoscope body 11.
