The present disclosure relates to bifunctional compounds that find utility as modulators of the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) protein. In particular, the present disclosure includes a ligand that binds E3 ubiquitin ligase on one end and a moiety that binds the target protein on the other end, whereby the target protein is placed in close proximity to ubiquitin ligase, The present invention is directed to a bifunctional compound in which the conversion occurs and the degradation (and inhibition) of the target protein occurs.
