Degassing liquid food such as dairy milk, cream or ultra-high temperature milk, comprises supplying total flow of gas-loaded product to an inlet of distributing pipe, so that partial flow of gas-loaded product is converted and/or branched
The method for degassing liquid food such as dairy milk, cream or ultra-high temperature (UHT) milk, comprises supplying total flow of a gas-loaded product to an inlet of a distributing pipe (2), so that a forced partial flow of the gas-loaded product is converted and/or branched, transporting the partial flow into a gas collecting chamber (5) against the force of gravity and then transforming towards a reverse flow direction in its side of the gravitational force in film-flows extending into thin layer over large surfaces, with the surface freely to the collecting chamber. The method for degassing liquid food such as dairy milk, cream or ultra-high temperature (UHT) milk, comprises supplying total flow of a gas-loaded product to an inlet of a distributing pipe (2), so that a forced partial flow of the gas-loaded product is converted and/or branched, transporting the partial flow into a gas collecting chamber (5) against the force of gravity and then transforming towards a reverse flow direction in its side of the gravitational force in film-flows extending into thin layer over large surfaces, with the surface freely to the collecting chamber, degassing the partial flow of the products to be degassed through the film-flows by separating the gas bubbles in the gravity field of the earth, and subsequently collecting and supplying a discharge from the collecting chamber as total flow of the degassed product. The film flow formed partial flow of the products is generated on an external surface of tubes oriented in the direction of the force of gravity or tubes having a gradient oriented in the side of the gravitational force. The tubes transport the partial flow of the product into the collecting chamber against the force of gravity. The partial flow of the degassed product is suspended to the effect of a negative pressure source (8). A retention time (T) of the partial flow of the product regulates a filling height of the degassed product in the collecting chamber. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a device for degassing liquid food such as diary milk, cream or ultra-high temperature (UHT) milk.
