PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monorail type catheter with a new structure, capable of preventing a guide wire from being caught when being pulled-out from an internal lumen.SOLUTION: A monorail type catheter 10 where a guide wire lumen 20 is formed in a distal end part 18 of a shaft 12 includes an easy-tearing part 36 in the peripheral wall part of the guide wire lumen 20.
