PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester with a raising device for raising a foliage part in a front part of a machine body in which the floating-up of the front part of the machine body is suppressed and the foliage part raising action of the raising device is reliably performed, and thereby the root crops of pull-out remainder are prevented from occurring in a ridge to enable effective harvesting work.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester 1 is provided for supporting a machine body frame 5 by a gauge wheel 6 provided in a front part of a machine body and a driving wheel 7 provided in a rear part of the machine body, raising the foliage part of the root crops by raising devices 2, 2, 3, 3 provided in the front part of the machine body, taking over and holding the foliage part with a pull-out conveying device 4, and pulling up a root part from the ridge while sending and lifting it up to the rear. The root crop harvester is characterized in that a movable balance weight 45 is provided in the front and rear of the gauge wheel 6, and the balance weight 45 disposed in the rear of the gauge wheel 6 is moved to the front side of the gauge wheel 6 when driving the raising devices 2, 2, 3, 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、機体の前部に茎葉部を引き起こす引起し装置を備えた根菜類収穫機において、機体前部の浮き上がりを抑えて引起し装置の茎葉部引起し作用を確実に行って、畝に抜き残しの根菜類が生じないようにして効率的な収穫作業が出来るようにすることを課題とする。【解決手段】機体前部に設けるゲージ輪6と機体後部に設ける駆動輪7で機体フレーム5を支持し、機体前部に設ける引起装置2,2,3,3で根菜類の茎葉部を引き起こしてその茎葉部を引抜搬送装置4で引継挟持して後方へ送り揚げながら根部を畝から引き抜く根菜類収穫機1において、ゲージ輪6の前後に移動可能なバランスウエイト45を設け、ゲージ輪6の後に配置するバランスウエイト45を引起装置2,2,3,3の駆動時にゲージ輪6の前側へ移動することを特徴とする根菜類収穫機とする。【選択図】図1
