PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvesting machine provided with a foliage raising device which neither damages mulch film nor scatters soil to an operator during harvesting work.SOLUTION: A root crop harvesting machine comprises a draw and transport device 20 which holds the foliage parts of vegetables and transports the foliage parts in an upper rear direction to draw out the bulb parts. In the root crop harvesting machine, a foliage part raising device is provided which comprises: a grounding endless belt 100 circulating longitudinally toward a front side of the draw and transport device 20 and a scratchingly feed tool 101 laterally protrudingly circulating parallel with the ground in the inside of the grounding endless belt 100.
