PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment agent composition which prevents hardening of hair by over-conditioning (excessive adsorption and accumulation) of a component improving touch feeling to the hair, while securing smoothness of finger movement in hair ends, and can give a gloss to the hair.SOLUTION: The hair treatment agent composition of the present invention contains: (A) a cationic polymer (for example, at least one selected from a group which consists of a polymer containing a dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride unit, a cationized cellulose, and a cationized guar gum) and (B) N&egr-lauroyl-L-lysine.
