PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having excellent absorbability of an excretory substance including loose passage and hardly causing feces leakage.SOLUTION: A diaper 1A includes an absorber 4, and a surface sheet 2 disposed on a skin-facing side of the absorber 4. The absorber 4 includes: an absorbent core 40 formed by stacking core-forming materials consisting principally of fiber materials； and a skin-side core wrap sheet 41 that covers the skin-facing side of the absorbent core 40 and consisting principally of a fiber material.
