PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive packaging method with gas barrier property, which is capable of checking that a content is sterilized, and the gas barrier property thereof is kept.SOLUTION: The packaging method with gas barrier property for executing packaging with gas barrier property on a content includes a packaging step S10 of packaging the content with a packaging bag which is formed by using a film with gas barrier property in moist heat treatment, and provided with a barrier indicator for detecting ingress or drainage of objective gas, and a sterilizing step S20 of sterilizing the packaging bag and the packaged content in the moist heat treatment under predetermined conditions.
