PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel acetylcholine esterase (AChE)-inhibitors and compositions for treating or preventing diseases or conditions associated with acetylcholine esterase that comprise the acetylcholine esterase (AChE)-inhibitors as the effective components.SOLUTION: The invention provides an acetylcholine esterase (AChE)-inhibitor of which effective component is a compound or salt or hydrate thereof having a quaternary ammonium group and hydrocarbon groups attached thereto.
