PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application method of a biocompatible polymer for making a medicinal, skin medical or cosmetic compound or medical product for prevention, mitigation and/or therapy of distress, discomfort, itch, irritation and/or pain, and/or for tissue protection from the symptoms.SOLUTION: Provided is an application method of a biocompatible polymer consisting of the general formula AaXxYy (I) where: A is a monomer, X is a RCOOR' group, Y is bonded to A and is an oxygen or nitrogen sulfonate group corresponding to the following formula -ROSO3R' or -RNSO3R' where: R is an aliphatic hydrocarbon chain, which is optionally branched and/or unsaturated and can have a plurality of aromatic rings, R' is a hydrogen atom or cation, a is the number of monomers, x is the substitutional rate of the monomer A by the X group, and y is the substitutional rate of the monomer A by the Y group.【課題】苦痛、不快感、掻痒、刺激および／または疼痛に対する予防、軽減および／または治療、および／または前記症状に対する組織の保護のための医薬用、皮膚医学用あるいは美容化合物あるいは医療用製品を作成するための生体適合性ポリマーの適用法を得る。【解決手段】一般式ＡａＸｘＹｙ（Ｉ）からなる生体適合性ポリマーの適用法であり、ここで：Ａはモノマー、ＸはＲＣＯＯＲ′基、ＹはＡに結合されるとともに以下の式－ＲＯＳＯ３Ｒ′あるいは－ＲＮＳＯ３Ｒ′のいずれかに相当する酸素あるいは窒素スルホナート基であり、ここで：Ｒは脂肪族炭化水素鎖であって、場合によってこれは分岐しおよび／または非飽和で、複数の芳香環を有することが可能であり、Ｒ′は水素原子または陽イオン、ａはモノマー数、ｘはＸ基によるモノマーＡの置換率、ｙはＹ基によるモノマーＡの置換率である。【選択図】図１
