The present invention relates to an apparatus for filtering radioactive gases that are generated from nuclear fuel leaked in an accident inside a nuclear power plant and, more specifically, to an apparatus for filtering which is for preventing contamination inside a nuclear reactor building. An apparatus, for filtering radioactive materials inside a nuclear reactor building, comprises: an inlet pipe portion for drawing in a radioactive gas, generated from a molten core, by means of applied pressure due to high pressure in a nuclear reactor cavity; and a filtering portion for removing the radioactive gas, which has flowed in through the inlet pipe portion, by means of dry and wet procedures in sequences and for discharging the safe gas, from which contaminants have been removed, outside a nuclear reactor building, wherein the inlet pipe portion is connected to the upper outer peripheral side of the nuclear reactor cavity.
