The glass house has a skeleton structure of columns supporting a roof covering of translucent material, e.g. plastics sheeting. The structure has a corner with horizontally enclosed roof section which are joined by member running horizontally in the longitudinal direction of the glass house. The outer most member of a roof section are laid on a higher level than intermediate parts. The roof section is completely pivotable and adjustable about an axis near and parallel to the outer edge. The edge is supported by a support extending longitudinally from the roof section, which is held by struts slidable in the hollow columns. These are connected to adjacent sections by coupling rod.
