Treatment of cancer harboring mutations in the TP53 gene and/or post-translational modifications in the p53 protein. The present invention relates to the use of viruses belonging to the family Parvoviridae, genus Protoparvovirus, or combinations of such viruses with chemotherapy drugs, in the treatment of cancer. In particular the cancer is characterized by showing mutations in the TP53 gene and/or post-translational modifications in the p53 protein.L'invention concerne un traitement du cancer présentant des mutations dans le gène TP53 et/ou des modifications post-traductionnelles dans la protéine p53. La présente invention concerne l'utilisation de virus appartenant à la famille Parvoviridae, genre Protoparvovirus, ou des combinaisons de tels virus avec des médicaments de chimiothérapie, dans le traitement du cancer. En particulier, le cancer est caractérisé en ce qu'il présente des mutations dans le gène TP53 et/ou des modifications post-traductionnelles dans la protéine p53.
