PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a uniform amount of particles in a width direction onto a continuous sheet continuously and stably.SOLUTION: A particle supply device 1 includes a cylinder part 21 having an outside surface 211 which is a flat tubular surface centering on a horizontal rotary shaft J1, a tank part 3 for continuously supplying particles of an absorbent material onto the outside surface 211 from a supply port adjacent to the outside surface 211 of the cylinder part 21 near immediately above the rotary shaft J1, and a conveyance mechanism for continuously conveying a continuous sheet in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the rotary shaft J1 below the cylinder part 21. The tank part 3 includes: a front plate member 35 disposed on a front side of the supply port in a rotational direction of the cylinder part 21, to form a microgap 81 between a lower edge 351 parallel to the rotary shaft J1 and the outside surface 211 and a pair of side plate members 36 that limit a range where the particles pass through the microgap 81 together with the outside surface 211, in the width direction parallel to the rotary shaft J1.
