PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module capable of prolonging service life of a hollow fiber membrane and continuously producing water of stably good quality, and a filtration method.SOLUTION: The follow fiber membrane module having a housing 5 which houses a hollow fiber membrane bundle 3 and adhesion fixing layers 7A, 7B which fix both end parts of the hollow fiber membrane bundle 3 to the housing by adhesion includes cross plates 25A, 25B arranged in the both end parts of the follow fiber membrane bundle 3 and straightening cylinders 27, 28 which surround the both end parts of the follow fiber membrane bundle 3, respectively.
