The present invention provides a method and system for processing a cache cluster service. A non-transparent mode is adopted between a load balancing server and a cache server, and an internal IP address is used for communication. A fully-transparent mode is adopted between a router and the load balancing server, and a user IP address and a source station IP address are used for communication. The problem that efficiency of a cache cluster service is not high is resolved, and the efficiency of the cache cluster service is improved.
