PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator which can lengthen operating hour of mist operation by once water supplying, while making users get no cold-air-feeling at bedtime.SOLUTION: In a mist generator controlling a heating means 22 to keep a temperature of water storage in a water storage room 8 to a set temperature, and controlling a drive means 13 and a fan 4 to perform mist operation which supplies nano-mist and negative ions indoors, when a good-night mode is set, because a mist operation is performed while keeping the temperature of water storage to be the set temperature T until a predetermined time elapses after setting of the good-night mode, and after elapsing a predetermined time from setting of the good-night mode, the mist operation is performed by changing a temperature of water storage to a temperature which is a predetermined temperature t lower than the predetermined temperature T, the air of the usual set temperature T is emitted indoors, and the user does not get cold-air-feeling until his or her hypnagogic state at bedtime, and can be introduced into the hypnagogic state smoothly, and the set temperature T is lowered after the hypnagogic state and operation time can be lengthened.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】就寝時に冷風感を感じないようにしつつ、一回の給水でのミスト運転の運転時間を長くすることができるミスト発生装置を提供するものである。【解決手段】貯水室8内の貯水温度を設定温度に保持するよう加熱手段22を制御すると共に、駆動手段13および送風機4を制御してナノミスト及び負イオンを室内に供給するミスト運転をミスト発生装置において、おやすみモードが設定された時、おやすみモードが設定されてから所定時間経過するまでは貯水温度を設定温度Tに保持してミスト運転を行い、おやすみモードが設定されてから所定時間経過した後は貯水温度を設定温度Tから所定温度t低い温度に変更してミスト運転を行うので、就寝時に入眠するまで通常の設定温度Tの空気が室内に放出されて使用者は冷風感を感じず、スムーズに入眠することができ、入眠後に設定温度Tを下げるので運転時間を長くすることができるものである。【選択図】 図3
