Disclosed are a device for measuring a body temperature and a method thereof capable of measuring a body temperature faster than a conventional device and a method for measuring a body temperature. According to the present invention, the device for measuring a body temperature comprises: a body temperature sensor outputting a voltage value or a temperature value varied according to the body temperature； a storing part storing a temperature compensation value table according to a voltage change amount or a temperature change amount； and a control part storing the voltage value or the temperature value output by the body temperature sensor in the storing part at a preset interval, converting the voltage value stored in the storing part into a measurement temperature value when measuring with the voltage value, calculating the change amount of the voltage value or the change amount of the temperature value stored in the storing part, and adding a temperature compensation value corresponding to the calculated voltage change amount or the temperature change amount to the measurement temperature value to calculate a current temperature value.본 명세서는 종래 체온 측정 장치 및 방법에 비해 보다 빠른 체온 측정이 가능한 체온 측정 장치 및 방법을 개시한다. 본 명세서에 따른 체온 측정 장치는, 체온에 따라 가변되는 전압값 또는 온도값을 출력하는 체온 센서； 전압 변화량 또는 온도 변화량에 따른 온도 보상값 테이블을 저장하는 저장부； 및 미리 설정된 간격으로 상기 체온 센서에서 출력된 전압값 또는 온도값을 상기 저장부에 저장하고, 전압 값으로 측정 시 상기 저장부에 저장된 전압값을 측정 온도값으로 변환하고, 상기 저장부에 저장된 전압값의 변화량 또는 온도값의 변화량을 산출하고, 상기 산출된 전압 변화량 또는 온도 변화량에 해당하는 온도 보상값을 상기 측정 온도값에 합산하여 현재 온도값을 산출하는 제어부；를 포함할 수 있다.
