The present invention is a method for producing a joined article that is of individual packaged articles and that results from a plurality of individual packaged articles comprising individually housed absorbent articles being arranged in a direction of alignment. The present invention includes: conveying a plurality absorbent articles and a continuous sheet together in a direction of conveyance in the state of the absorbent articles aligned in the direction of alignment being housed inside the tubular continuous sheet for packaging conveyed with the direction of alignment as the direction of conveyance closing at least a portion of sealing subject sections which are between the absorbent articles that are adjacent in the direction of conveyance within the tubular continuous sheet conveyed in the direction of conveyance by pressing the sealing subject sections by means of a first pressing member in an intersection direction that intersects the direction of conveyance and forming a sealed section at the sealing subject sections by means of pressing and melting the sealing subject sections in the intersection direction by means of a second pressing member while conveying the continuous sheet in the direction of conveyance in the state of at least a portion of the sealing subject sections being closed.
