PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of the deposition strength of a sealing part when forming the sealing part of an individual packaging product by depositing the portions between the absorbent articles in a continuous cylindrical sheet for packaging.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for production of a connected article comprising aligning in an alignment direction, plural individual packaging products in each of which an absorbent article is individually stored. The method includes: conveying the absorbent article and a continuous sheet at the same time in such a state that plural absorbent articles aligning in the alignment direction are stored inside a continuous cylindrical sheet holding at least a part of the sealing object portions in a closing state by pressing the sealing object portion between the absorbent articles adjacent in a conveyance direction in the conveyed cylindrical continuous sheet in a direction crossing with the conveyance direction using a first pressing member and forming a sealing part on the sealing object portion by pressing the sealing object portion in the cross direction using a second pressing member to deposit while conveying in the conveyance direction, the continuous sheet in which at least a part of the sealing object portion is made in a closed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】筒状にされた包装用の連続シートにおける吸収性物品同士の間の部分を溶着することで個別包装品の封止部を形成する際に、当該封止部の溶着強度の低下を防ぐ。【解決手段】吸収性物品が個別収容されてなる複数の個別包装品が整列方向に並んでなる連結品の製造方法である。整列方向に並ぶ複数の吸収性物品を、筒状の連続シートの内方に収容した状態で、吸収性物品と連続シートとを一緒に搬送することと、搬送される筒状の連続シートのうちで搬送方向に隣り合う吸収性物品同士の間の封止対象部分を、搬送方向と交差する交差方向に第1押圧部材で押圧することにより、封止対象部分のうちの少なくとも一部を閉じた状態にすることと、封止対象部分のうちの少なくとも一部が閉じた状態にされた前記連続シートを搬送方向に搬送しながら、封止対象部分を第2押圧部材で交差方向に押圧して溶着することにより、封止対象部分に封止部を形成することと、を有する。【選択図】図5
