PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation device for irradiating a substance to be irradiated with ultraviolet rays.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet irradiation device is provided, which includes: a vessel which has a transmission part and which can hold a substance to be irradiated inside thereof an irradiation part which can transmit irradiation light containing ultraviolet rays from the first face side to the second face side of the transmission part and makes the inside of the vessel irradiated with the irradiation light and a first light receiving part which receives the irradiation light reflected in the vessel and transmitted from the first face side to the second face side of the transmission part. In addition, the transmission part may have a planar shape.
