An arthroscope (1) comprises a sleeve (20) having an internally hollow, proximal portion (21 ) suitable to be at least partially positioned in contact with the body of a patient and an internally hollow middle portion (22) connected to the proximal portion (21) so as to create a through axial cavity. The sleeve (20) has, within the middle portion (22), an abutment area (27). The arthroscope also comprises an optical unit (10) having an elongated portion (11) and a coupling portion (12) suitable to be at least partially received inside the through axial cavity of the sleeve (20). The coupling portion (12) has a matching area (17) suitable to couple with the abutment area (27).
