PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container-filled green tea beverage having well-harmonized and well-balanced tastes of umami, sweetness, astringency and bitterness.SOLUTION: There is provided a tea beverage comprising (A) gallate-type catechin, (B) free catechin and (C) mono-galactosyl diglyceride, wherein the contents thereof, per 1 L of the beverage, are (i) (A)+(B)=100-1500 mg, (ii) (B)>;(A), (iii) (C)=0.8-8.0 mg, and (iv) (C)/(B)=0.0030-0.2000. The mono-galactosyl diglyceride is preferably from an extract of a powdered tea.
