PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device capable of supplying moderate moisture to plants to be cultivated and allowing even a user having little knowledge about plant cultivation to easily grow plants.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device (10A) comprises a medium body (13) on which a plant is cultivated (1), a cylindrical body (20) supporting the medium body (13), a substrate (12) comprising a cylindrical body hole (12a) for holding the cylindrical body (20), and a liquid container (11) for storing the culture medium (2) below the substrate (12). The cylindrical body (20) can float on the culture medium (2), and slide relative to the cylindrical body hole (12a) in the substrate (12) to move downward with increase in weight of the plant (1) along with its growth.【課題】栽培する植物に対し適度な水分量を供給し、かつ、植物栽培の知識に乏しいユーザーであっても、簡便に植物を生長させることが可能な植物栽培装置を提供する。【解決手段】植物栽培装置（１０Ａ）は、栽培植物（１）を栽培する培地体（１３）と、培地体（１３）を支持する筒状体（２０）と、筒状体（２０）を保持するための筒状体用穴部（１２ａ）を有する基板（１２）と、基板（１２）の下に培養液（２）を貯留する貯液容器（１１）とを備える。筒状体（２０）は、培養液（２）上に浮遊可能となっており、かつ栽培植物（１）の生長に伴う重量増加によって基板（１２）の筒状体用穴部（１２ａ）に対して摺動して下方移動可能となっている。【選択図】図１
