PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the picture quality of an OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) image at a low cost.SOLUTION: An optical image forming method according to the embodiment is a method for forming the tomographic image of an object by processing an interference spectrum on the basis of an interference light obtained by synthesizing a signal light passing through an object and a reference light, and includes a scan step, a detection step and an image forming step. In the scan step, each of a plurality of lines A of the object is scanned by the signal light while alternately changing a phase difference between the signal light and the reference light into two preset phase differences. In the detection step, the interference light between the signal light passing through the line A and the reference light is detected. In the image forming step, a complex interference spectrum is generated based on the detection result of the interference light corresponding to the plurality of lines A sequentially obtained by the detection step accompanied with scanning, and a tomographic image along the arrangement of the plurality of lines A from which a complex conjugate artifact is substantially removed is formed based on this complex interference spectrum.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】OCT画像の高画質化を低コストで実現する。【解決手段】実施形態の光画像形成方法は、対象物を経由した信号光と参照光とを合成して得られる干渉光に基づく干渉スペクトルを処理して対象物の断層像を形成するものであり、スキャンステップと検出ステップと画像形成ステップとを含む。スキャンステップでは、信号光と参照光との間の位相差をあらかじめ設定された2つの位相差に交互に変更しながら対象物の複数のAラインのそれぞれを信号光でスキャンする。検出ステップでは、Aラインを経由した信号光と参照光との干渉光を検出する。画像形成ステップは、スキャンに伴い検出ステップで逐次に得られた複数のAラインに対応する干渉光の検出結果に基づいて複素干渉スペクトルを生成し、この複素干渉スペクトルに基づいて複素共役アーチファクトが実質的に除去された複数のAラインの配列に沿う断層像を形成する。【選択図】図6
